The 2013 version of my book, Wiley/Sybex's AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013 Essentials is now available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Wiley. Here's what's new in the new version:- Pressure Pipes!
- All exercise steps, workflows, and screen captures have been updated for Civil 3D 2013
- A handsome new brown cover
- Videos of the end-of-chapter "Essentials and Beyond" exercises!!!
Please check it out.
Here is a sample of one of the new videos!
I wanted to find out if you have a tutorial/book (perhaps this one) that also helps to set up the styles and all other features to run civil 3D , starting from scratch with some knowlege of LDD

Mastering Civil 3D 2013 is a book that goes much deeper into Civil 3D than my book does. It doesn't lay out every detail of how to develop styles but it will give you more information on the subject. I don't know of any resource that focuses on style development and configuration. In that area, the Help is your best resource or the assistance of a CAD consultant.

ReplyDeleteGetting ready to take the civil 3d 2013 essentials class. Had some trouble downloading the files (my fault I'm sure). I think I finally got it.My question is do I need to download the imperial and metric files or can I just do the imperial files for the class? Thanks
ReplyDeleteYou would have to ask the person/company giving the class whether they plan to teach it in imperial or metric.
